Today I had a free hour and decided to entertain myself with Z-Out by Rainbow Arts. Essentially this is a bog-standard shoot 'em up which looks and sounds quite nice with more than a hint of R-Type. However, apart from a nifty two-player feature, it doesn't bring anything new to the table but does include blatantly ripped-off sound effects. I enjoyed playing Z-Out today, it's not bad but the Atari ST has better. Plus it's a total badass! (or is it just me?)

 - 8BitChip has adapted this for hard drive installation (level skip feature too!)
 - Here are some nifty cheats :
          > pressing J + K together gives infinite energy.
          > pressing J and a number between 1 - 6 (on the main keyboard) to skip levels.
          > pressing K and a number between 1 - 3 (on the keypad) to jump stages.
